Joy Orbison soundtracks new Chelsea FC kit reveal with ‘Flight FM’ edit: Watch

Joy Orbison has soundtracked the online unveiling of Chelsea FC’s new kit with a fresh take on his single, ‘Flight FM’. You can check the version below. 

In a social media post to Chelsea’s X account, the remixed tune was described as “the biggest underground sound of the year”. The music is accompanied by a video clip featuring several players from the team.

The original version of ‘Flight FM’ first landed earlier this year via XL Recordings, and was written while Joy Orbison waited for a ride to 2023’s Lost Village Festival. Months prior, he dropped a collection of highly sought-after efforts form his formative years, recorded at his parents’ home and in a friend’s studio during the late-noughties, ‘archive 09-10‘.
