Jeremy Corbyn backs Rave2Raise event for Gaza with Manuka Honey, L-Vis 1990, Manni Dee, more
Jeremy Corbyn has endorsed an ongoing series of club nights raising funds for people in Gaza.
In a video message sent to Rave2Raise, the British MP and former Labour Party leader said: “Thanks for all you’ve raised for Gaza so far, well done. It’s fantastic work of solidarity and support for families who are in an absolutely desperate situation in Gaza watching their children starve.
“Of course, we have to mount all the political campaign to stop the supply of weapons and recognise the state of Palestine, so when you have a rave to raise money for Gaza, you’re perfectly entitled to have a great evening and have some fun as well. One day, I hope soon, there will be peace.”
The next Rave2Raise takes place tomorrow (Saturday, 23rd August) as is a collaboration with Voices Radio station and Two Tribes Brewery. DJs who are playing include Manuka Honey, L-Vis 1990, Manni Dee and object blue. There are also some additional unannounced guests lined up to DJ at the event.
The party will take place at Campfire in North London. Tickets can be purchased here.
Previous Rave2Raise guests have included Moxie, GIDEÖN, Oblig, Hannah Holland, Shay Malt and Bluetoof. There have been five events to date so far.
