Help Musicians UK offers advice and support amid coronavirus pandemic

News

UK organisation Help Musicians has shared some advice and support for those in the music industry who may have been affected by the coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic in recent months and the future.

On its dedicated page for advice, the organisation writes: “Many musicians may be fearful of the implications COVID-19 could have on their own health and their performance and teaching commitments, which in turn might have an impact on a range of issues, including finances and mental health.

With a promise to continue monitoring the developing situation and updating its means of support, Help Musicians hopes that its service will help people in the music industry access the latest advice on coronavirus, know how they can be supported, and be aware of other organisations that could also offer help in these uncertain times.

The organisation is running a free-to-use helpline to offer health and welfare support, in addition to mental support for those who may be struggling to cope with developments.

You can read Help Musicians’ advice and find out if you’re eligible for their support here.
