Gorillaz have teamed up with Omar Souleyman and Yasiin Bey for a new track.
‘Damascus’ is the fourth track to be shared from the group’s upcoming album ‘The Mountain’, which is due to land on 27 February 2026 via the band’s own new label KONG. Check out the track below.
The new single follows previously released single ‘The God Of Lying’, which features IDLES, along with ‘The Happy Dictator’, featuring Sparks, and ‘The Manifesto’, featuring Trueno and late D12 member Proof.
A number of collaborators appear on ‘The Mountain’, including Johnny Marr, Gruff Rhys, Anoushka Shankar, Bizarrap and Paul Simonon. There is also a range of posthumous appearances from Bobby Womack, Tony Allen, Dennis Hopper, Mark E. Smith, Proof and Dave Jolicoeur.
Earlier this year, the band shared video from their recent live show performing their debut self-titled album in full.
In September, Gorillaz launched a new online video game, Kong Studios. The group are set to bring their House of Kong immersive exhibition to Los Angeles in 2026.
