In his version, the producer paints JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown’s instantly recognizable vocals with a fresh coat of reverb before taking the cut’s slow-rolling low end to fierce new lows. Still true to the original, the bellowing rework opens up a world of possibilities for grimier, grit-laden club sets — clearly Hamdi’s forté. To borrow a line from another Fred fave, you’ll “hear the rumble, yeah.”
