Flying Lotus shares new double single with vocalist Devin Tracy: Listen

Flying Lotus has dropped a new double single, with both tracks featuring vocalist Devin Tracy.

The artist, producer and Brainfeeder main man has paired up with the emerging LA-based vocalist on ‘The Room / You Don’t Know,’ which is out via Warp Records. Stream both tracks below.

Speaking about the collaboration, which stemmed from Flying Lotus discovering Tracy at a session, the former said: “The kinship was immediate”.

It comes a month on from Flying Lotus – real name Steven Ellison – unveiling ‘They Call Me Magic’, the theme song of AppleTV+’s Magic Johnson documentary series of the same name. Off the back of executive producing and scoring Netflix’s YASUKE anime series last year, he also recently announced plans to direct and score a sci-fi horror film called Ash.

It’s been three years since Flying Lotus released his most recent studio album, ‘Flamagra’. His sixth to date, it featured collaborations with the likes of George Clinton, Anderson .Paak, Little Dragon and David Lynch.
