Ferry Corsten shares ambient playlist and message to fans fans amid tour cancellation

News

Trance legend Ferry Corsten has shared a new ambient playlist, and a statement to his fans, in the midst of the global outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Like the vast majority of DJs across the world at the moment, Corsten’s forthcoming dates, including much of his What The F tour, have been forced to be cancelled or postponed. Reassuring his fans via Twitter, the Dutch DJ said that once this uncertain time comes to an end he gets the “green light, you know I’ll be out there, back on the road to share our musical journey together”. You can read the full statement below.

He has also updated his Stillpoint playlist on Spotify, where he has emphasised ambient, neo-classical and cinematic music, including his new single ‘Dark Water’. It’s full of appropriately chilled sounds for an intensely unsettled time. Check it out below.

You can keep up to date with how the pandemic of the new coronavirus, COVID-19, is affecting the global electronic music scene here.
