Fatboy Slim’s ‘Palookaville’ 20th anniversary edition with unreleased versions and remixes hits streaming services

Fatboy Slim is releasing a deluxe edition of ‘Palookaville’ on streaming services for its 20th anniversary.

The 2004 album, originally containing 12 tracks, is now has an expanded streaming release with 18 additional remixes and versions previously unavailable on streaming. In addition to instrumental and acoustic versions of tracks, there are remixes by Justice, X-Press 2, DJ Delite, Jon Carter and more.

“Before streaming was a thing, we put a lot of cats in a music video because everybody loves cute cats”, Norman Cook wrote on Instagram. “Today there’s a new version of Palookaville featuring ‘The Joker’ with Bootsy Collins. All the original album tracks, as well as 18 versions and remixes previously unavailable digitally, are now online.”

This year Fatboy Slim celebrated the 500th release on his label Southern Fried Records with the new single and videoRole Model‘. 

In April, Cook played a sold-out set to 120 people to help save grassroots venue Hot Box from closure.
