DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs 2026: A Record-Breaking Year for Global Nightlife
The annual DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs poll has officially landed, and the 2026 results paint a vivid picture of a global clubbing scene in the midst of a dynamic resurgence. With 19 new entries—two more than in 2025—the list highlights the continued post-pandemic evolution of nightlife across every continent.
A Historic New Champion
In a landmark moment for the poll, [UNVRS] has claimed the number one spot. As the latest venture from the Ibiza-based powerhouse The Night League, the venue transformed the legendary former site of Ku Club and Privilege into a 10,000-capacity destination. It is the first venue in the history of the poll, which began in 2006, to debut directly at number one, and the first to reach the top spot within just 12 months of opening.
Regional Shifts and Global Trends
Spain continues to be a dominant force in the industry, contributing 12 clubs to the list, including new entries like Papagayo Tenerife and San Pelicano in A Coruña. Meanwhile, Asia has demonstrated the most significant growth, now boasting 31.5 clubs on the list. The region saw 12 new entries in 2026, with Thailand leading the charge as the third-best-performing country globally. Notably, India’s Quake Arena earned the title of Highest Climber, rising 26 places, while Indonesia’s Savaya broke into the top five.
Europe remains a stronghold with 39.5 clubs represented, though the landscape is shifting as venues like Italy’s Amnesia Milano and Germany’s Open Ground—a converted bunker with deep ties to Berlin’s record culture—make their debut. In South America, the scene remains robust with eight clubs, led by the perennial favorite GREENVALLEY, which holds steady in second place.
Challenges and Resilience
While the global outlook is largely positive, North America faces a more challenging period, with 16 clubs represented but a notable decline in rankings compared to previous years. Despite this, iconic venues like Washington, DC’s Echostage remain firmly in the top 10, and cities like Miami and Dallas continue to see significant growth in their local scenes.
As the electronic music community continues to evolve, the 2026 poll reflects a broader trend of diversification and innovation. With record-breaking voter participation from across the globe, the Top 100 Clubs remains a vital barometer for the passion and creativity defining the modern DJ and clubbing experience.
