Daft Punk mark five years since split with new ‘Human After All’ video: Watch
Daft Punk have marked five years since their split with a new video for ‘Human After All’. Check it out below.
The new visual incorporates footage from the duo’s cult 2006 sci-fi film, Electroma, edited by Cédric Hervet. Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are seen driving in a vintage Ferrari through the desert and into a small town full of helmet-wearing residents.
The video follows a string of recent Daft Punk activity. In October, Thomas Bangalter made his first DJ appearance in 16 years at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, while a first-ever vinyl edition of the remix album for ‘Human After All’ was announced in December.
Meanwhile, French touch was recently added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list, after a campaign that included vocal support from French president Emmanuel Macron.
