D Double E and Sir Spyro share new single and video, ‘G.I.B (Grime Is Back)’: Watch

D Double E has teamed up with Sir Spyro for a new track, ‘G.I.B. (Grime Is Back)’.

The new track arrives off the back of a triumphant time for grime following the genre’s strong showing at the MOBOs, and celebrates the emerging new generation within the UK sound. Despite the tongue-in-cheek title, the track makes it clear that grime isn’t quite back, since it never actually left.

‘G.I.B. (Grime Is Back)’ follows on from D Double E and Sir Spyro’s last collaboration, ‘Energy Gang’, which was released last summer.
