Chris Stussy announces debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten…’

Chris Stussy has announced his debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten’.

Set for release on 3rd April via his Up The Stuss label, the Dutch DJ and producer’s long-awaited first LP will be split into three distinct sections. The first, Lost, brings together previously unreleased tracks from across the years that never quite found the right moment to be shared.

The second is Found, which focuses on tracks born from collaborations with a raft of guests that have yet to be announced.

Finally, the Forgotten section will revisit previously released tracks that flew under the radar, including B-sides, rarities, deep cuts and “the moments that reward patience”, according to the press release. “This chapter is for the heads and diggers,” it continues, “tracks that may not demand immediate attention but reveal their value over time.”

“This album has been a long time in the making, and I’m excited to finally share it with you,” Stussy continued in a statement. “The process behind it – exchanging ideas with other artists and creating music outside of my comfort zone – has been an incredible experience. It gave me a true sense of freedom, allowing me to not think about boundaries or expectations. I’ve never been more proud of a project than this one.”

“It’s deeply personal, and it represents my sound as a whole,” he added. “I hope you listen with an open mind and find something in it that resonates with you.”

Further details, and even the tracklist, are being kept under wraps for now, but will be unveiled gradually in the lead up to the album’s release in April.
