Burial shares two new tracks on Hyperdub, ‘Comafields / Imaginary Festival’: Listen
Burial has released a new two-track EP through Hyperdub.
Featuring the tracks ‘Comafields’ and ‘Imaginary Festival’, the new record marks the elusive producer’s return to his longtime label home after putting out ‘Phoneglow / Eyes Go Blank’, a split record with Kode9, in June 2024. Before that, he released the XL Recordings single ‘Dreamfear / Boy Sent From Above’ in February of the same year.
As ever with Burial, the two tracks on the new record are extended affairs that move through multiple sounds and passages. You can listen to both new cuts below.
The record is out now digitally, and a limited-edition clear vinyl release is set to follow on 19th September. It can be pre-order exclusively via Hyperdub.
The past year has also seen Burial produce the soundtrack for Harmony Korine’s latest film, Baby Invasion.
