Berghain announces three-day livestream with Ostgut Ton

News

Berghain has announced a three-day livestream with its in-house label Ostgut Ton.

Filmed in the legendary Berlin club’s concert room, Halle, a 19-hour programme of DJ sets will be broadcast from 28th July.

A collaboration between Ostgut Ton and ARTE Concert, performances will come from some of the club’s core artists, friends and collaborators, including Ben Klock, Paramida, KMRU, Avalon Emerson, Marcel Dettmann, Oren Ambarchi & Konrad Sprenger, Lakuti and more. Check out the full line-up below and subscribe to watch via the ARTE YouTube page.

Before being cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, Ostgut Ton planned a 15th-anniversary tour last year.

Berghain recently re-opened its garden area, Klubgarten, with a series of outdoor parties. Since winding down club nights as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions, it has been used as a gallery space. Halle am Berghain currently hosts an art installation inspired by “Berlin’s origins as a swamp”, commissioned by Light Art Space and produced by Danish artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen. This will run until September 2021.

A new lakeside venue, Plötze, recently opened in Berlin.
