Beastie Boys announce ‘To the 5 Boroughs’ deluxe vinyl reissue with 11 bonus tracks
Beastie Boys’ sixth studio album, ‘To The 5 Boroughs’, is getting a deluxe vinyl reissue.
From 17th April, the 2004 classic will be available as a 3LP and 2CD set, featuring 11 bonus tracks of remixes and B-sides. The vinyl edition is pressed on 180-gram LPs and housed in a triple gatefold jacket with pop-up elements and an NYC map lithograph.
This marks the first time the 2019 digital deluxe edition of the 2004 album has been available in a physical format. The reissue is available to pre-order here.
Originally released in June 2004, ‘To The 5 Boroughs’ marked the trio’s first full-length album in six years and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys, where it lost to Kanye West’s ‘The College Dropout’. It featured the singles ‘Ch-Check It Out’, ‘Triple Trouble’ and ‘An Open Letter to NYC’.
The updated release follows on from Beastie Boys’ 30th anniversary reissue of classic album ‘Ill Communication’ in 2024.
