Arca Releases New Album ‘XXXXX’ via XL Recordings

The experimental music landscape shifts once again as Arca officially releases her new album, ‘XXXXX’, through XL Recordings. The 16-track project is available now, including a physical release on vinyl for collectors and dedicated fans.

The arrival of ‘XXXXX’ follows the immersive Diva.Experimental livestream, which aired on July 23rd. The performance, directed by Daniel Sannwald with lighting design by Matiere Noire, was broadcast from an abandoned factory in Barcelona, setting a stark, industrial tone for the new material. In the weeks leading up to the album’s launch, Arca shared 12 individual videos from the livestream, building anticipation for the full-length project.

‘XXXXX’ arrives as a significant follow-up to Arca’s critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album KiCk i. That previous record, also released via XL Recordings, served as the foundation for her ambitious KICK pentalogy, further cementing her status as a pioneer of modern electronic and avant-garde soundscapes.

Fans can now stream the full album or revisit the visual components of the Diva.Experimental livestream. For those looking to secure a physical copy, the vinyl edition is currently available for pre-order.
