Anastasia Kristensen has enlisted Tim Reaper, Raji Rags, D.Tiffany and more for a new charity Bandcamp compilation, ‘Rewire & Acquire’. 

The 19-track album also features Ben Pest, Marco Bailey, VRIL and Telefon Tel Aviv, in addition to a track from Kristensen herself. The album aims to raise awareness around gender issues, inequality and violence ‘in the shadow of the pandemic’, with all proceeds going to Equality Now, a charity fighting for legal equality for women. 

“‘Rewire & Acquire’ is a symbol of a creative friendship for me, with all of us united by and for this cause. I find it important to keep that type of creativity alive, especially in these highly challenging times in the world right now,” Kristensen said. 

“I discussed the cause with the artists and everyone instantly wanted to contribute to this. I am very happy how it shaped up and what better time to release this than on my birthday.”

In April Kristensen appeared in our Crate Diggin’ series, direct from her home city of Copenhagen, and recently unveiled her remix of Lena Raine’s ‘Trance State’.
