AlphaTheta partners with SanDisk on official rekordbox USB sticks for DJs

AlphaTheta, parent company of Pioneer DJ, and hard drive experts SanDisk have teamed up to launch a new official rekordbox USB stick designed specifically for DJs.

The SanDisk® DJ Flash Drive features both USB-C connectivity and the traditional USB-A, meaning you won’t need a dongle to connect to USB-C devices like a Macbook to transfer files. Users can use the higher-speed USB-C — SanDisk says up to 1GB/sec — for relevant devices, and when using a USB-A media player/device, simply plug the opposite end into the relevant port on the unit.

Spec-wise, the stick is designed for high-speed transfer and stability, and has a capacity of 1TB. The unit also comes with three months of rekordbox Creative Plan included with every purchase.

The SanDisk DJ Flash Drive is available now and costs $119. Find out more on the Pioneer DJ store and watch the video below for more info.

Last year, AlphaTheta announced a new entry-level two-channel controller called the DDJ-FLX2. That followed the launch of the company’s new flagship all-in-one DJ unit, the XDJ-AZ.
