AIR announce ‘The Virgin Suicides’ 25th anniversary reissue
AIR have announced a 25th anniversary reissue of their 2000 album, ‘The Virgin Suicides’.
Set for release on 26th September, ‘The Virgin Suicides Redux’ will feature the full original album, in the form of a brand new analogue mix from the original tapes. It will also come with previously unheard rarities and demos from the era of the original record.
The reissue will be made available on all streaming platforms, while it will also be released across in vinyl, CD and Blu-ray editions. The latter format will feature spatial audio of the album.
‘The Virgin Suicides’ was both AIR’s second album and the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola’s directorial debut of the same name. It featured the single ‘Playground Love’, which you can listen to below.
