Air announce ‘Moon Safari’ live album for Record Store Day

AIR have announced the release of their first-ever live album, which will land as part of this year’s Record Store Day. ‘Moon Safari, The Athens Concert’ is set to arrive on 18th April 2026.

The live show was recorded in the Greek capital last year as part of the French group’s mammoth 2024 – 2025 world tour, celebrating a quarter century since their landmark debut album, ‘Moon Safari’. Taking place at the stunning Odeon of Herodes Atticus, with the ancient Acropolis as a backdrop, the show featured classic tracks from the album as well as re-thought arrangements which took advantage of the famous acoustics inside one of the oldest venues on the planet.

To find out how ‘Moon Safari’ wrote a new chapter in the history of French electronic music when it landed in 1998, revisit DJ Mag’s retrospective feature here.
