London record shop, Next Door Records, opens new branch

London record shop Next Door Records has opened a second branch in the city.

Based in Stoke Newington, the new branch launched last weekend. Featuring a bespoke DJ booth with turntables and CDJs, as well as a bar, it will host a series of special in-store events going forward.

It follows the record store’s original branch, in Shepherd’s Bush. Both shops feature a range of new and second-hand stock, with much of the latter only available in-store rather than online.

Having closed through the early part of this week to make some final touches, the Stoke Newington branch of Next Door will fully open from tomorrow (Thursday, 9th May). You can visit the store for yourself at 182 Stoke Newington Road.

Find out more about the new branch via Next Door Records’ website.

The original Shepherd’s Bush branch of Next Door opened in September 2020.

The new shop follows on from another new record store opening in London late last year, in the form of Deptford-based Upside Down Records.
