Gastel Shines in Sinister 'Eos' EP [EDM Sauce Premiere]

A nefarious project echoing predecessors like Gesaffelstein and Dopplereffekt, Gastel flexes his own had in midtempo mastery in his Eos EP, out now. In an impressive area between industrial techno and midtempo bass, you’ll find Gastel. This wicked hidden gem in the midtempo community makes his first full body debut in Eos, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you today.

Gastel – Eos EP

Navigating through a mirage of intense drums and haunting synthesizers, Eos is a stunning analog masterpiece from the budding producer. Heavily influenced by the titans of industrial techno, Gastel moves the underground into a slightly more mainstream realm, beckoning listeners into his sonic universe.

Kicking things off is an aptly titled “Intro,” swirling with cinematic builds, ultimately unfurling into a suspenseful “Seismic Fall.” Littered with forceful bass and crunchy synths, “Seismic Fall” is Gastel at his best. Previously released singles “AC-130” and “Rene” follow, packed with ferocious bite. A twisted journey finally brings listeners to a haunting “Galihad,” as Gastel brings it all home in a truly sinister package of bass treats.

Listen to Eos on Spotify below, and keep your eye on Gastel.
