Spotify launch DJ curated playlist series, Track ID

News

Spotify has launched a DJ-curated playlist series.

Launching the new suite this week in their dance and electronic hub, streaming giant Spotify have teamed up with some of the world’s leading DJs for the first instalment of the new playlist series: track IDs.

“Available globally, these playlists were created in response to one of the most frequent questions DJs get asked during their sets, ‘track ID, anyone?'” Spotify shared. “The “track IDs” will provide DJs with a platform to easily share the tracks they would play in their sets, while allowing them to connect with their fans in a way they haven’t been able to do so before.”

Among the artists to feature in the new series are Black Coffee, Carl Cox, Dixon and Ellen Allien, as well as DJ Boring, Honey Dijon, Kelly Lee Owens, Gerd Janson, Sherelle, and Todd Terry.

You can check out the full list of playlists on Spotify here.
