A Notorious B.I.G. documentary is heading to Netflix.

Yesterday, (15th) streaming giant Netflix shared the trailer for a new documentary about legendary Brooklyn-born rapper Biggie Smalls AKA The Notorious B.I.G..

Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell has been executive-produced by the late rapper’s mother Violetta Wallace, alongside Sean Combs AKA P. Diddy, and will drop on Netflix on the 1st March. Born Christopher George Latore Wallace, Biggie was born in 1972 and was murdered in 1997, aged 24.

“Every legend has an origin story. Christopher Wallace, AKA The Notorious B.I.G., remains one of Hip-Hop’s icons, renowned for his distinctive flow and autobiographical lyrics,” Netflix said. “This documentary celebrates his life via rare behind-the-scenes footage and the testimonies of his closest friends and family.”

In 2019, it was announced that the Fulton Street intersection between Gates Avenue on BK’s St. James Place in Brooklyn – where the New York rapper once called home – would formally be changed to Christopher Wallace Way.
