DJ Mag Originals to launch new vinyl-focused video series, Crate Diggin’

News

DJ Mag Originals is launching a brand new series, Crate Diggin’, later this month, where we take some of the world’s biggest DJs record shopping.

In the series, which launches on Wednesday 25th March, we take a deep dive into the artist’s individual music tastes, through both contemporary and historical releases.

During each episode, we speak to the artists in their favourite record stores, from Berlin to Lyon, and London to Barcelona. They tell us about records that bring back memories of their personal experiences, and of the dancefloor, alongside wax that inspired them before and during their careers.

Launching Crate Diggin’ is French DJ and producer Folamour, who takes DJ Mag to Chez Emile Records in his hometown of Lyon. We also visit Melting Point Records alongside Anja Schneider, Kristina Records with Anastasia Kristensen, NUT Records with Andres Campo, Bikini Waxx with Sally C, and join Bloody Mary on a trip to the iconic Spacehall Berlin record store.

The series will drop weekly on Wednesdays via the DJ Mag YouTube, Facebook & IGTV.

Check out the full list of artists and the date you can catch them Crate Diggin’ below.
