As part of the continued funding schemes for the music and creative industries amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Arts Council England has announced that applications for Developing your Creative Practice (DYCP) are open as of today, Thursday 15th October.

The DYCP have announced a budget of £18 million set to be distributed across the next 12 months, with four rounds of grants from October 2020 to October 2021. The list included in the guidance for applicants has now also been expanded to include DJs, performer/creators, arts and cultural educators, community practitioners/engagement specialists, movement directors, cultural conservators, creative enablers, and creative technicians.

Applicants for the fund will need to have minimum one year of experience in their field outside of a formal educational setting, and if they are unsuccessful, can reapply again throughout the following rounds.
